Schleich - Trakehener Mare. A Trakehener mare may only have a foal with a Trakehner, Arab or Thoroughbred stallion. This rule is intended to preserve their elegant build and spirited character. Trakehners originated in the East Prussian town of Trakehnen, near Kaliningrad in Russia.
