Boy, did we have an awesome day today. Celebrating National Toy Store Day was a big success. The store was full of kids -- both full size and smaller sized versions. 😉 So many games were played. K'Nex projects were built. An amazing Ferris Wheel was stared at with wonder and awe (if you haven't seen it, be sure to stop by -- it really is a site to behold). Lots of Whimzy balloons were put in little hands. And a whole lot of Thinking Putty left the store.
There were lots of ooh's and ah's and squeals and giggles. Kids were wandering from play spot to play spot. So many grocery orders were run over the scanner. Several meals were also served at the diner. The bell was even rung a few times demanding service. It was the perfect kind of day for toy store owners.
Both Tom and I remain grateful that all of you share this fun part of your lives with us.
