Join us on Saturday, November 11, when we get to celebrate toys in the best way we know how-- we're going to play!
Saturday is National Toy Store Day -- a day where all specialty toy stores just like us celebrate the joy and wonder that toys bring to full-size and regular size kids. We've got all kinds of fun planned. Just check the list of activities below:
10:30am - 11:30am Reading Rocks
We'll be introducing our new Reading Rocks hour! Our own Anna Waltman will be reading from our 10-Minute Story Book so that we find fun stories for everyone to enjoy!
Noon - 1:00pm Game Play
We'll be playing another new game to the store -- Dr. Eureka! The brilliant Dr. Eureka has important experiments for you to complete. You must solve his scientific formulas by mixing the molecules from tube to tube without touching them with your bare hands. Transfer your molecules faster than your competition in Dr. Eureka to prove you're the smartest scientist in the lab.
1:30pm - 2:30pm Make & Take with K'Nex
Have you checked out the huge Ferris Wheel in our front window? If not, it's worth the trip and some time to stare at it because it's simply amazing. Tom worked on that magical thing all week long! He'll be leading the Make 'N Take K'Nex project using the same kind of parts and pieces for the Ferris Wheel. We'll only have room for 10 at the table so come early to get your spot to make your own fun project.
3:00pm - 4:00pm Craftivity with Linkt
What??? Another fun project? Yep ... that's totally going to happen! One of the hottest craft items are from Neat-Oh called Linkt®! Kids are drawn to the sparkle, shine and brilliant colors of the metal rings they combine themselves to make necklaces, bracelets and earrings. Join us at the craft table to make a bracelet. Again, we'll only have room for 10 makers, so make sure that you grab your seat.
We do have a full day of fun planned at the store and hope you'll join us. There might even be a sale or two if you get the bug to shop. And treats ... we'll have treats. The store opens at 9:30am and the activities start at 10:30am.
See you there because ... as always ... it's time to play.
